To Blithe Mornings.

At the height of my lowest point, I remember what I wanted more than anything:

Every night, to believe that my best was good enough. Every morning, to ease into a day that I could look forward to.

I mean, I *really* prayed for 'ease'. Though it might sound cliche, I imagined myself waking up with a stretch and a smile.

I'd then enjoy a breakfast that didn't leave me feeling starved or constipated. I'd have a positive mindset to face life's obstacles. I'd like what I saw when I looked into the mirror.

It's taken some time, but I've finally arrived at the blithe place I'd been imagining. That is not to say that my mornings are perfect, but more often than not, they are definitely blithe.

While we're at it, I need to clarify the use of the word 'blithe'. As a synonym, it can be a substitute for a number of terms ie. "careless". For my interpretation, it means "carefree". Effortless. Easy. Blithe mornings allow us to devote our precious thought-process toward focusing on other things. I am so excited to share more about my journey: my ups and downs, my process. I'm so excited to build community, and hear more about your journey, too.

I'm so glad that you're right here with me.

So here's to tips and tricks, routines and rituals.

Here's to ease, and gentle mornings.

Here's to Blithe Mornings.
